Ambulance LCD 2009 Annual ICD-9-CM Diagnosis Codes Updated
Services rendered on or after October 1, 2008, will require the 2009 updated ICD-9-CM diagnosis codes. There will not be a grace period for the new codes.
The “Ambulance Services (Ground Ambulance)” Local Coverage Determination (LCD) has been updated to include the following changes:
